To assist Mondial Assistance in their partnership with Virgin Airlines (Virgin Blue, Virgin Pacific and Blue Holidays), Speedwell was commissioned to develop a 'skinnable' travel insurance site with full e-commerce facilities.
The site, which was originally released in September of 2004, has subsequently had major feature upgrades which include:
- Travel Insurance for residents of New Zealand, Fiji and Vanuatu
- Handling of multiple currencies
- Intranet version for 'staff cover' (Virgin Staff)
- Extranet version for use by Virgin and Mondial call centres
