Gold Coast City Council
Gold Coast City Council commissioned Speedwell to scope out, plan and develop a directory that would assist the Youth community and parents to find information on youth issues and related details.
Speedwell initially spent numerous weeks with members of the project team, scoping the business objectives for the solution and planning the user interface. The business scoping exercise identified the key target audience members and prioritised their needs for the system. The system target audience included:
- School Students
- Youth Service Providers
- Parents
Each of the user needs was extrapolated into a functional requirement for the system. The resultant facilities incorporated into the Youth Services Directory included:
- View and print the entire Youth Services Directory in PDF
- View past Junior Council Media
- Look up a Junior and Senior Councillors
- View the Junior Council Honour Board
- See Schools Participating in Junior Council
- View Government Organisation Details
- View Funding Organisation Details and Funding Opportunities
- View Schools & Educational Organisations
- View Parenting Organisations and Parenting Courses on Offer.
Speedwell developed all code for this system using Microsoft ASP and SQL Server technology.
