In 2011 Speedwell was engaged to redevelop Dreamworld’s ecommerce platform and assist with Dreamworld’s front-gate mobile web solution. Due to the complex nature of Dreamworld & WhiteWater World’s content structure, an enhanced navigation system and separate ecommerce site was developed while also building on the existing architecture in place from SkyPoint to ensure efficiencies.
A complex ticket reservation system was developed for limited and exclusive ticket types as well as product up-sell and cross-sell capabilities to drive increased ROI. Dreamworld mobile is a web-based, mobile ecommerce solution developed to enable quick ticket purchasing at the front gate to ease queue congestion. Within two days the client reported significant positive impact to their sales as a result.
