Speedwell developed the initial website and eBusiness application for Floatnews, (now trading as InvestSMART), which is one of Australia’s most successful online investment advisory services.

The company required navigational functionality that would be intuitive for their target audience of business people. Users were to be presented with valuable information immediately upon entering the site, and to be guided by user-friendly navigation directly to the member registration area for a subscription service.

Permission marketing is used to capture personal details through a Free Newsletter Subscription. Regular followers of the Stock Market are able to upgrade to a Platinum Membership service which provides more detailed services.  The Floatnews/Investsmart newsletter service is broadcast twice a week to close to 100,000 subscribers.

A secure, custom content management system drives the site’s dynamic content.
