Building on three years of working closely with Dominos to implement digital strategies, Speedwell worked with an integrated team to develop the Domino's iPhone ordering application.
Speedwell applied first-hand technical knowledge gained from the development of the back-end framework and front-end flash online ordering system over three years. Speedwell's iPhone development team worked closely to integrate the native iPhone solution with APIs developed by Domino's IT team and concepts by Domino's creative agency.
Within 4 days of release, the Dominos application rose to be the most populate free application on the iPhone in Australia.
Not only did it become the most popular application, but those downloads converted into thousands of orders placed through the iPhone within weeks of release. In just over a month, the application had processed over $1 million in sales.
