Mondial Assistance, Australia's largest travel insurance supplier asked Speedwell to develop an application which would be of benefit to their policyholders.
Speedwell worked closely with Mondial in designing an application which allows travellers to:
- view detailed information on every country in the world
- link directly to maps (online and offline)
- Translate to and from the local language
- Convert currencies
- View Australian travel warnings (smarttraveller.gov.au)
- Have a secure digital storage space for scanned travel documents (passport, tickets etc), notes, phone numbers, bank account details etc
- Have a one click access to the mondial emergency desk in every country
The application has been a great success with downloads from over 20 countries.
