Animated
Product Sales Presentations
Sometimes the best way to make a sales pitch
is to use animation, audio and video. An example of an effective presentation
is TelNet Media.
Speedwell helped to guide the definition of Tel.Net's market brand, and
created an integrated website and presentation to showcase Tel.Net's product,
Internet Sheriff. Speedwell can also produce off-line presentations for
Powerpoint or CD Rom.
Email
Marketing Presentations
Speedwell can embed a presentation similar to
a television commercial within animated emails for online
marketing campaigns. The result is an impressive user experience -
colour, movement and sound that comes with a surprisingly low file size
overhead. Extensive storyboarding is necessary during the planning
of these presentations, as is consideration of the technical
requirements for delivery.
Animated
Educational Presentations
Animated images and audio are effective ways
to convey educational information. When developing the CS
Energy website, Speedwell incorporated two presentations that showed
how electricity could be generated. Amcor
Cartonboard needed an interactive tour of their waste paper process
for students to download and learn from. Speedwell integrated this tour
for use by teachers in educating students about the paper recycling process.
Flash
Animated Buttons, Headings and Icons
Flash is an animation technology used to deliver
most presentations online. When using Flash animation in home pages
(and elsewhere within the site), we need to ensure:
- the page is still quick to download; and
- the animation becomes an integral part of the page.
Well-integrated
animation can provide maximum impact for site visitors, including additional
animation on various buttons, headings and icons throughout the site.

Advertising
Banners
Another way of adding sizzle to a site
is by using advertising banners. Often, these are used to promote features
within the website or the company’s own products or services. Speedwell's
creative team can work alone or in conjunction with your advertising agency
to integrate effective banner advertising into your site. Banner
advertising may also be used on related industry sites or on web portals
such as the major search engines.
Interactive
Games
Games can be used to convey powerful messages.
They are fun to use, and add depth to the user experience. The Integrated
Youth Services website gives you an example of a game that effectively
delivered a message to our client’s target audience.
Streaming
Video & Audio
It can be relatively straightforward to
render standard videotapes as digital media ready for streaming, depending
on the required compression level. Common applications include online
TVC's and shareholder reports.
